The Changing Leaves

This photograph was shot at a small botanical garden. It was the last sunny day before a long period of rain. I knew this tree would quickly lose that colour and programmed a loving artistic visit with my friend Maxine. After one week, when the sun was back, the tree looked very different and naked. The perfect representation of our ever-changing human nature. __ On the technical aspect of this photograph, I softened the beautiful harsh sunlight with a diffuse flash in order to give a richer feeling to the image and capture all the information, also in the darker areas to be able to play with that during the editing process. An optical filter was also used to provide a happy dreamlike feeling to the photograph.
