Taken at the peak of autumn, my brother and his friend stand on a rocky outcrop, admiring a hidden meadow below. The Rocky Mountains transform into vibrant warm tones, with golden grasses and rusty soil. But it’s the deep blue ponds that transfix me most, reflecting light so delicately it feels like a rendering error in the fabric of the world.
